Position Purpose Guides, recommends, or leads efforts to solve complex business problems and/or the implementation of business initiatives utilizing Cascade as a result of possessing a combination of prior Cascade or CMMS implementation experience involving multiple modules as well as thorough business knowledge of Facilities assets and maintenance practices.
Education & Experience BS degree in Business, Construction, Engineering or Information Technology, or up to three years relevant experience in the design, construction, operation, and/or maintenance of facilities equipment.
Demonstrated history of solving problems with systems design and/or process improvements using current systems and tools across assignments, applications, and/or departments.
Special Qualifications Proficient in Cascade or demonstrated ability to master new software systems quickly.
System administration with knowledge of internal controls a plus.
Demonstrated ability to develop, design, coordinate, and lead end-user training a plus.
Requires PC proficiency, including knowledge of Word and Excel.
Job Description Possesses combination of systems knowledge and Facilities equipment knowledge to support achievement of complex end-user objectives. Directs or coordinates the development of Cascade-based analyses associated with business initiatives that often involve equipment maintenance triggers based on asset health indicators.
Possesses understanding of multiple interfacing systems to Cascade, such as Oracle Financials, Powerbase, etc. in order to monitor and identify issues with inbound/outbound data flow. Acts as the primary business contact for questions relating to these interfaces.
Serves as primary business contact with IT system administrator to provide analysis of and solutions to complex production problems often involving data flows across modules and/or systems, trouble-shooting, field computer problems, etc. Works closely with IT to accurately communicate functional needs, problems, issues, and enhancements that require IT assistance, and oversees effort through successful resolution.
Coordinates with IT system administrator to perform testing of Cascade enhancements including new modules, customizations, upgrades, and new releases. Develops and updates associated documentation including script development, testing plan, and execution checklist with end-user participation and approval.
Monitors Cascade business processes and asset health data in accordance with the Facilities Maintenance Program. Works with maintenance technicians & leaders to suggest and implement changes to maintenance procedures.
Receives and assigns work requests for Facilites maintenance and asset data issues. Possesses project management and organizational skills to lead and/or plan the work for others.
Capable of coordinating, preparing, & writing training material and/or delivering training to end-users pertaining to Cascade processes and tools.
Provides user application access, monitors Cascade business processes, applies & adapts maintenance triggers, sets up & applies maintenance procedures, maintains electronic inspection forms, generates system reports, sets up new equipment locations & positions, etc. Understands data needs associated with reporting requirements, the impact of changes/additions/deletions of this data, etc. across modules and applications.
Monitors the responsiveness to technical problems, support requests, and incident/problem management. Conducts regular asset health & maintenance management meetings and regular Cascade users group meetings to suggest new maintenance philosophies, introduce new industry testing technology, and/or recommend Cascade system enhancements.
Generates reports for management, NERC Compliance, and external departments in addition to reports of a complex nature that require extensive Cascade system knowledge. Executes and documents the quarterly reporting used to provide management KPI statistics.
Effectively communicates with clients, peers, management, and senior management by blending functional and technical content into verbal and written communications, focusing on the business benefit and/or impact of the proposed action.
Reviews and/or approves the work of other Cascade support personnel. Typically, this involves enhancements, report development, error/problem resolution, etc.
Communicates/coordinates NERC requirements involving Cascade processes to end-users and provides control documentation for Audit Services compliance (e.g. user application/database approvals, authority limits, Cascade internal controls, etc.)
Acts independently under general direction.
Work Conditions Normal office environment with some visits to field locations.
Physical Effort Primarily sitting with optional standing/walking.
