What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for experienced supervisory leaders in Claims Operations to motivate and develop teams to exceed client and member expectations. Responsible for daily management and oversight of the Claims Department to ensure timely and accurate adjudication of claims for health care services, received from contracted and non-contracted providers and to ensure all Federal, State and Client requirements are met timely and efficiently in accordance with regulations and client guidelines.

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

  • Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience in health insurance claims processing with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in health insurance claims processing in a production and quality oriented environment.

  • HMO Claims or managed care environment preferred across multiple product lines such as Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange, and employer groups

  • Working knowledge of medical billing and coding, benefits and provider contracts.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, preferably direct supervisory experience of 15 employees. Ability to motivate and lead others to achieve individual and team objectives.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytic skills with attention to detail and organization

  • Able to work independently with sound decision making skills

  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple applications, including strong Microsoft Office skills for Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
