Conifer Health Solutions is currently hiring for a Patient Service QA Coordinator in downtown Louisville.
Responsible for conducting quality audits on patient services and bills within 48 hours of discharge, correcting errors, and noting trends. Also responsible for providing web-based training from a remote location.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Completes quality assurance audits of specified number of patient accounts within 3 days post-discharge
Resolves identified billing errors prior to bill drop as required
Audits accounts to ensure all demographic, insurance payor information and signatures are acquired and documented correctly
Audits accounts to ensure all benefits and authorizations are obtained and documented
Audits accounts to ensure that all quality assurance standards are met
Reviews QA statistical data with Patient Access Management, Reg PA Directors, facilities and training on a regular basis to identify problems and trends, and recommend solutions.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college, 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related preferred
1-3 years of experience in healthcare administration with at least 2 years of experience in Patient Access
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid problem-solving capabilities to identify data element and compliance issues, prepare audit reports, and identify trends
PC proficient with experience in QA software preferred
Ability to pay attention to details
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
