Process Expert I, II or Sr. - Any Office Location or Telecommute

Process Expert I:

Assists in identifying and researching workflow problems and system irregularities. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors reports/has oversight of Intake Site.

  • Reviews adjustment requests submitted to Intake site for accuracy and clarifies requests with the submitter as appropriate.

  • Receives guidance and mentoring from more experienced process experts.

  • Researches operations workflow problems and system irregularities.

  • Assists with the development and testing of process improvement solutions for new systems, new accounts and other operational improvements.

  • Assists with the development and leading of project plans and communicating project status.

  • Liaison between other departments.

Process Expert II:

Supports a single operations department by participating in project and process work. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Researches operations workflow problems and system irregularities.

  • Develops tests, presents process improvement solutions for new systems, new accounts and other operational improvements.

  • Develops and leads project plans and communicates project status.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) and coaching partner within team and other departments as needed.

  • Liaison between other departments.

Process Expert Sr.:

Supports multiple operations departments by participating in project and process work. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Researches operations workflow problems and system irregularities.

  • Develops, tests, presents process improvement solutions for new systems, new accounts and other operational improvements.

  • Develops and leads project plans and communicates project status.

  • Provides process direction and decision making for all minor and major project work.

  • Provides guidance to process experts.

  • May perform duties as a lead when involved with enterprise wide initiatives/projects.

  • Liaison between other departments.

Requirements:

/Process Expert I/

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 3 years related experience (business analysis, process improvement, project coordination), experience in high-volume managed care operations (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience and understanding of claims configuration.

  • MMP Program experience preferred.

  • Provider Contracts experience preferred.

/Process Expert II/

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-7 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination in a high-volume managed care operation (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing) with the ability to analyze workflows, processes, supporting systems and procedures and identifying improvements; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience and understanding of claims configuration.

  • MMP Program experience preferred.

  • Provider Contracts experience preferred.

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 8-10 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination in a high-volume managed care operation (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing) with the ability to analyze workflows, processes, supporting systems and procedures and identifying improvements; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience and understanding of claims configuration.

  • MMP Program experience preferred.
