Role Summary/Purpose: The Product Manager – Connected Products will have responsibility for developing product strategy and delivering growth and innovation in connected product.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for developing product strategy and delivering growth and innovation in connected product

  • Engage functional teams to develop strategy and execution plans to expand connected product capability, consumer usage, overall connection rate and new partnerships

  • Lead development of analytics of connected insight data to draw conclusions to improve ownership experience and enhance product capability and simply user interface.

  • Lead efforts to deliver required product attributes desired by consumer/customer through data analytics focused on user interface and controls.

  • Collaborate with GEA Commercial teams and customers to develop and execute sales strategy and marketing plans

  • Allocate funding and priorities for new app and integration developments

  • Lead cross-functional or cross-product teams including technology, product management and commercial to assure coordinated development and launch of new features

  • Engage with partners at a strategic level to advance integrations, deliver consumer value and develop new monetary revenue streams.

  • Collaborate with Insights team to do consumer research on required product attributes desired by consumer/customer

  • Support commercialization process as new features and capabilities go to market

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management or commercial experience in a business to consumer – type role

  • Prior Commercial, Manufacturing or Technology experience

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate, and drive action across multi-functional teams

  • Must be willing and able to travel, as needed to support commercial activities and partner integrations

  • Preferred

  • Cross-functional experience, particularly in commercial roles

  • Familiarization with NPI process, M-Reviews and Go-to-market approaches
