assigned patient care unit for a specific shift. This role may provide care to a various

patient population throughout the life span.


nursing care including administration of medications and treatments in

accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies and

procedures. Care provided is based on

defined standards of patient care and nursing practice.



RN license in the State of Kentucky required

A minimum of an Associate Degree in

Nursing from an accredited nursing

program is required. A Bachelor’s Degree

in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is preferred. Effective May 1, 2014, all new-hire Associate Degree Registered

Nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN

program within two years of hire and complete an approved BSN program within

five years of hire.

One year of experience preferred if position is for

the Resource Team or a PRN position.

Healthcare Provider/Basic

Life Support required.

Psychiatric nursing experience, preferred

Minimum two years clinical nursing experience


Able to complete Safe Crisis Management and perform

Safe Crisis Management techniques.
