Humana is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to use their analytical skills to derive emerging program insights to help drive key business decisions impacting trend bender initiatives.
- Develop and analyze key performance metrics using various analytical tools.
- Develop significant expertise in specific Humana trend bender initiatives including their mechanics that drive down cost
- Collaborate with operations and various Actuarial divisions to communicate findings and drive strategy.

Role Essentials * Bachelor’s Degree
Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
Meets requirements for Humana’s Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
Strong communication skills Role Desirables
Prior experience with data analysis, querying and reporting experience
Proficient knowledge with typical actuarial analytical tools [e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, and some database application (e.g., Access, SQL or SAS)
Time management skills
Expresses with confidence the Actuarial work they have done
Able to translate Actuarial terminology in their discipline Additional Information
