Be a part of the Legal team -- drive healthcare strategy with your legal expertise. Humana is seeking an experienced attorney to provide contracting and legal support to its PBM and pharmacy business units. This position will draft and negotiate complex agreements across the PBM and pharmacy lines of business as well as provide regulatory advice and counsel on a diverse range of topics. Primary responsibilities include:
Review and draft pharmacy benefit management, supply chain, rebate, and data use agreements
Provide regulatory advice and counsel on PBM and pharmacy related matters, including Medicare Part D requirements, state and Federal fraud, waste, and abuse laws, and state pharmacy operations and licensure requirements
Provide legal support to pharmacy network contracting team, including review of network agreements and advising on PBM/pharmacy network disputes

Juris Doctorate, with licensing in at least one state
Six-to-Nine years of experience with healthcare and pharmacy regulations
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
Ability to create preventive strategies for reducing risk across PBM and pharmacy operations
Experience with Federal and state fraud, waste and abuse laws and regulations Role Desirables
Pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting experience
Familiarity with CMS regulations, including Medicare Part D
Specialty Pharmacy services and distribution experience
