The Admin / Developer for ServiceNow will be responsible for configuring, administering and scripting on the client’s ServiceNow platform. This role will work with the IT Service Management leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of IT and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration / Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows

  • Building catalog items from customer requirements including requests, request items, and tasks using workflows to manage the data flow from the customer to the support teams

  • Using the ServiceNow REST API functionality to create externally driven processes to automate rote tasks being done in ServiceNow

  • Integration and process automation using ServiceNow functionality

  • Creating requirement definitions and technical specifications documentation

  • Gathering specifications from the customer and delivering a product / release that meets the needs presented

  • Loading, manipulation and maintenance of data between ServiceNow and other systems

  • Generation of views and reports as needed in collaboration with IT managers

  • Analysis of user requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the technical roadmap

  • Thorough understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes

  • System and integration testing with sample and live data

  • Monitoring health, usage and overall compliance of the application

    Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Java scripting, web application & ServiceNow development

  • 1+ years of experience in systems integration utilizing Web Services - ServiceNow platform integration leveraging inbound and outbound REST preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

  • Self-starter, ability to operate alone or in a team setting

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • ITIL Foundation Certification

  • Experience working with the Helsinki version (or later) of ServiceNow

  • 1+ years of Angular / Bootstrap experience – on ServiceNow platform preferred

  • Experience with the following ServiceNow platform processes: Configuration Management, Asset Management, Request Management, Change Management and Incident Management

  • Experience with MID server, ServiceNow Adapter, Glide Scripts, Transform maps, Scheduler, WebService, External Database Connections, CMS and Service Portal

  • Experience with backend and process work; Access Control, Business Rules, Data modeling, Workflow scripting, Import Sets, Notifications
