Frankfort, KY

Job Summary

The entry-level candidate chosen for this role will work alongside team members in an agile environment and apply technical, analytical and communication skills towards supporting and maintaining high quality database driven web and Windows based applications using .NET and the Microsoft technology stack. The candidate will support and maintain two statewide enterprise applications (about 8,000+ users) for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These applications are known as KyOPS and E-Warrants.

KyOPS is a public safety application used by almost every law enforcement agency in Kentucky to manage the electronic capture of police reports (collision, citation, crime, domestic violence, missing persons, etc.) while helping agencies in data analysis and predictive policing. KyOPS has additional components that help the Kentucky State Police manage concealed carry firearm registrations, sex offender registry, NCIC firearm purchase disqualifications and central intelligence.
