Heartland Payment Systems, Inc. Project Support Associate in Jeffersonville, Indiana
Provide support on Specialty Product Team sponsored programs, including but not limited to account set up and handling contacts from merchants, Relationship Managers, HSC personnel, and 3rd party partners. Must have a detailed understanding of Service Team processes including those functions performed by Customer Advocates.
Hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm
Data enter merchant information accurately, within specified time limits into the applicable database, using proprietary tools.
Setup specialized, Specialty Product Team sponsored, merchant accounts on HPS internal systems as well as 3rd party vendor specific systems.
Interact with Relationship Managers, Account Managers, and HSC personnel via phone, fax, and e-mail to resolve any issues relating to the successful processing of new accounts and maintenance requests.
Stay current with all equipment options, features and functions as it relates to the vendor/product.
Provide customer service support to merchants participating in Project Implementation Team sponsored programs, including POS and account related inquiries.
Meet or exceed production, quality, and attendance objectives of the department.
Regularly communicate details of fulfillment efforts through scheduled meetings and written pieces.
Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned.
Minimum twelve months data entry experience and/or twelve months call center.
Fundamental knowledge of overall Bankcard Industry. Knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, products and services. Have a current knowledge of your workgroup and department’s procedures, policies, and responsibilities. Must have a strong understanding of Point of Sale functionality and support.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Must have good written and oral communication skills and well-developed problem solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Must have exceptional knowledge/performance with primary functions and good knowledge/performance into secondary functions.
Must have a strong understanding of overall POS Support.
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
