The Challenge
This Consumer Product Literature team position will manage the creation and release of all product literature for GE Appliances, a Haier Company and all associated brands. The position will closely interact with product engineers to identify specific literature needs for each program or project. Individual will be responsible for ensuring that a high quality literature product is delivered on time and to the latest Brand, Agency and format requirements.
What you will Do
Essential Responsibilities
Create new product technical literature ensuring adherence to all applicable Standing Instructions and Brand requirements
Update/modify existing product technical literature ensuring adherence to all applicable Standing Instructions and Brand requirements
Ability to create and/or modify illustrations as needed from product pictures and CAD files to support all technical literature
Effectively manage product line priorities and drive conflicts and issues to resolution
Work closely with product line engineers to develop and execute literature requirements
Create and/or modify carton art and carton graphics for the various product lines
Manage technical literature language translation needs with an external translation company
Manage and prioritize workload to ensure all technical literature is delivered on time
Guide less experienced engineers on literature requirements and how to create robust red line markups
Work with the product execution, safety and product management teams to deliver high quality products

Minimum Qualifications
Typically 4 year BS or BA degree
Minimum of 7 years of experience creating, designing and implementing product literature
Expert in the use of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator as part of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong team player that is willing to help others to ensure the success of the team
Self-starter, results driven person
Strong organization and efficiency skills with a great attention to detail
Solid verbal/written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) software packages
Preferred Qualifications
Prior PTC Windchill PLM tool experience
Prior CREO CAD software experience
Experience creating product literature in a high volume manufacturing environment
