Primary Responsibilities: As the Exchange and Skype Subject Matter Expert (SME) L3 , you will function as an engineer in a managed services environment supporting a variety of customers ranging from medium size business to large enterprise. The SMEs primary responsibilities include monitoring, administering, and supporting e-mail and messaging systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as a point of escalation for incidents and problems involving the configuration of e-mail and messaging systems

  • Performs systems maintenance, upgrades, capacity planning, and administration

  • Develops, documents, and standardizes preventative maintenance routines to ensure system availability and performance standards on production systems

  • Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents and problems within defined service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Communicates effectively with various entities, including CRMs, account managers, remote site personnel, and client technical and non-technical resources

  • Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016)

  • Microsoft Exchange Server (2010, 2013, 2016)

  • Exchange Online

  • Skype for Business Online

  • Office Online

  • Office 365 E3 and E5 services

  • Core Server infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.)

  • TCP/IP Networking

  • Microsoft failover clustering

  • Server Optimization and Hardening

  • System backup and restore management

  • VMware + Hyper-V

  • Working knowledge of storage technology

  • Windows Debug, Crash dump analysis

  • Windows OS Patching, Driver and firmware updates

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., datacenter racking / stacking, cabling
