The Pharmacy Inventory Manager is responsible for the maintaining and improving the operational and inventory relationship with pharmaceutical manufacturers at a Corporate, Regional, National, and Senior Management level. As the Inventory Manager, you would prepare and report critical usage data to specific manufacturers. Track inventory usage- maintains appropriate levels (Min/Max and reorder points). Sustain and assure accuracy of Product. You monitor key implementations for new and expanded pharmaceutical programs. Responsible of reporting metrics to the staff and upper management on a regular basis and being a key player in making staffing decisions to carry out the business need. Measure, monitor and report on critical metrics with client as well as internal standards.
Conduct weekly/monthly pharmacy inventories.
Assist with and reconcile discrepancies of inventory to physical count.
Cross train on JBA/SAP Product Management and Pharmacy Automation calibration and maintenance.
Coordinate with Warehouse Operations Manager/3PL Inventory Services to maintain inventory and stock, quarantined product and transfer of needed medication from 3PL to Pharmacy.
Lead, follow-up, and publish pharmacy patient returns.
Support QA department with order fulfillment audit
Demonstrate professional writing skills, the ability to craft business plans, build and work with spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred
5 years’ of management experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
Finance and Accounting is strongly preferred
Possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
Advanced PC skills in Windows environment; strong strategic and analytical and presentation skills
High School Diploma or GED
