Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant’s skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.” / _ _ _Actuarial Analyst II_ Completes projects and performs complex actuarial studies. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Performs key actuarial functions including supporting new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, and flexible benefit consulting. Supports special projects such as developing and maintaining experience-rating formulae and creating and/or reviewing alternative settlement formulate and risk sharing models.

_Actuarial Analyst III_ Completes very diverse and complicated projects and performs very complex actuarial studies. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Performs key actuarial functions including new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, flexible benefit consulting, and special projects. Designs and completes special projects such as developing and maintaining experience-rating formulae and creating and/or reviewing alternative settlement formulate and risk sharing models. Responsible for recommendations on pricing, marketing, product design, claims, premium and enrollment administration of business unit.Assists in training of actuarial trainees, analysts and specialists.

This position can be located in any local Anthem office within the US

_Actuarial Analyst II_ /Requires/ BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams; at least 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

_Actuarial Analyst III_ /Requires / BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams; at least 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
